Concept

[ Age: Kindergarteners and up ]
[ Center: Gotanda/Himonya/Makuhari/Hibarigaoka/Musashikosugi/Shinagawa ]

The aim of this class is to foster students who can read, write and convey their message in English. Based on a monthly theme, children aquire English naturaly while discussing and studying English in various ways. After School Goal Achievements

Entrance Warm-up

Getting ready for the class while communicating with native teachers and friends in English. During this time, teacher will check homework.

Circle Time

We Introduce the theme, and children discuss what they know about it. And children share what they have learned with the teacher and friends.

Textbook Time

Children study fundamental grammar using the textbook. By learning important grammar points, children will enhance their writing and reading skills.

Activity Time

We choose a book which is based on the monthly theme. Children will learn new vocabulary and expressions by doing activities such as craft, science, math and geography related to the theme.

Book Project

We will introduce a book which is appropriate for the children’s comprehension levels. With guided assistace / instruction, children develop their understanding of the book contents. Children give a presentation about the book they have read for the preriod of 2 months.

Sticker & Good-Bye Time / Explanation to Parents

Time to wrap up. Teachers and bilingual staff explain a result of the lesson to parents.

Teaching Materials & Raz-Kids

Children will utilize Kids International original teaching material, “Raz-Kids”reading and supplementary material, and “My First Grammar ”textbook. * The picture is an example.

Raz-Kids

We use "Raz-Kids" which is used in the U.S. An account will be allocated to each individual and refer to an appropriate level book to read at home. During free-play, the teacher will check the reading level.
